Our address is 21612 Glenn Rd, Sedalia, MO 65301.

Directions:

Going north on 65 north going out of Sedalia, turn right (east) on HH Highway. About a mile in on HH, you’ll come to a new 4-way stop. Turn left there. (GPS shows this as a curve to the left)

We will be switching to a dual price model and will have a regular price and a cash price. By paying with cash or check, customers are eligible for the cash price. This will apply to all retail items and processing services.

What inspection options do you have if I want to resell my meat?

We are currently Missouri State Inspected for Beef, Buffalo, Beefalo, Swine, Goats, Sheep and Lamb.

Please reach out to us by phone for any further questions on offerings and pricing as they do differ from our normal custom processing options.

Do I have to have my own beef or hog?

If you do not have a local farmer to get a beef or a hog from, we are able to supply an animal for you. Please reach out to us on any further questions and availability.

Do you render lard?

At this time, we do not have the machinery needed to render lard. We can however, upon request, save the fat from your animal. Please make sure to include that with your order.

Drop Off FAQ

How does the drop off process work?

When you pull into the parking lot to drop off your animals, stay to the right of the building and follow along the side until you get to the gate. Someone will then direct you to pull forward to unload your animals. If someone is not there, please call the store and someone will be out shortly.

Once unloaded, you will receive a tag number and weight for each animal. You will then need to stop in at the front to provide the weights of the animals and handle any other paperwork that is necessary.

What days do you accept animals for butchering? Do I need an appointment?

During our normal processing season, we accept animals on Thursday for processing. The drop-off time is dependent on the type of animal. We do require an appointment as our space is limited. Please call 660-826-2898 to check our availability and schedule your appointment.

Please note, we do stop processing all animals besides deer during the month of November. We will resume processing again in December.

Ordering FAQ

When do I need to place my order?

If I get a quarter of beef, why do I have to match some of the cuts of the other quarter?

When we require that the steak thickness and certain cuts like T-bones and Rib Eyes have to be the same as the other quarter of the same beef, we do it to ensure everyone gets the best quality cuts. If we were to split a premium loin, like where the T-bone comes from, in half in order to de-bone it for the other customer’s order, one person would end up with better steaks than the other. So, to guarantee fairness and quality, we keep certain cuts consistent between the quarters.

Pick Up FAQ

What days can I pick up my order?

Once your order is ready, our staff will call you and let you know what day your order will be ready to pick up. After that, you can pick it up any day or time that we are open. We ask that if it will be 2 weeks or longer before you can pick up your order, please call and make arrangements with us.

How is the meat packaged for pick up and travel?

Your vacuum sealed meat is placed in our cardboard trays with handles for each handling. Each box is labeled with the customer name and our tag number. At pick up, we will then go over the total number of boxes we have for you before you leave.

Do you have lids or bags for the boxes?

Bags that fit over our boxes or lids are available for an additional charge. Please let us know at pickup if you are in need of either of them.
